Join Alberta Innovates and SHEInnovates Alberta Chapter as they bring women to centre stage on the Inventures Unbound platform. As a part of Inventures Unbound, we’re proud to partner with SHEInnovates to bring you Women Leading Innovation, taking place 9 a.m. MT on September 15, 2020, from on the Unbound live-stream portal. Join us as we hear from women at the top of their game as they discuss the topics of tech and innovation in their industries.
The half-day live stream event will feature keynote speaker Arielle Gross Samuels, Head of Global Business Strategy and Engagement at Facebook, who will share her perspective on women in the tech and innovation sectors, the challenges women face in the workplace, and ways in which we can better support women-led startups. Her address will take questions from the audience and end with a live Q&A.
Several single-session tracks will be explored, and the event has been geared for high engagement through interactive tools within the live stream portal and chat sessions following sessions. Session topics include: Women in Tech and Innovation, Women in Alberta, Women Making Cents, Women in AI, Innovation of Work and Culture of Innovation and a book club opportunity.
Also join us for a pre-conference event on September 14, 2020 as SHEInnovates hosts a networking and wine-tasting hosted by Peggy Perry, President of Willow Park Wine & Spirits. Registration is required.
